The verification device is arranged in such away that: when the stripped part is positioned in the first receiving space (12) and a first cable element is supported against the base, a second element of the cable is positioned relative to the reference to allow for a visual comparison between the position of the second cable element and the position of the reference and further allow for visual comparison between the length of the strippedpart of the cable and the reference length, wherein the first cable element is selected from the free end of the cable and the shoulder of the cable, and the second element is selected from the free end of the cable and the shoulder. |
